Here are few things I have to learn from this particular book.
Set and Identify the Goals: The first step of goal setting is to identify and detail the goal you wish to achieve. It would help if you looked to capture your plan. You should also ensure that the goal is something that you want to work towards.
Set a Deadline for every Goal: A lack of a deadline can make you put off trying to complete the goal. I understand that testing and failing can cause much fear. Still, as an extreme failure and success, Legend Thomas Edison could tell you, there’s much to be said about loss leading to ultimate success.
Identify the obstacles that will stop you from achieving your goal. Here’s the good news. This is a step that everyone does fantastically. Here’s the bad news and good news. Identifying the obstacles of their goal-setting usually stops them from trying to achieve their goals in the shorter term.
List the benefits of achieving the goal: Once you’ve identified your plan, you should ensure that the benefits of achieving it, enjoyment of attaining it. This will help you gain further clarity about the purpose and increase your motivation to achieve it. It will also help you identify other things you can do to ensure that you achieve it.
