Here is my review for the KOO app and why I will use it over Twitter:

  1. Koo has 400 characters limit, unlike Twitter which still has a 280 character limit. It gave me more room to write and express my thoughts.

  2. Twitter, your profile options, trends, news, etc., are visible on the homepage, but on Koo, these features are readily available on your screen, and you will need to go through the options mentioned on the top menu bar.

  3. Voice to type feature for the Hindi language is fantastic and smooth. I like the integration they have done with Google to provide this feature.

  4. Sharing KOO posts directly to your Whatsapp status is a feature. These features are not available on Twitter.

  5. The last feature of the ability to edit my tweet after posting is a blessing. I missed this feature on Tweet. I always thought someday Twitter would add this feature.

  6. Within 4 hours, I get closed to 100 followers on Koo. Yap, this has given me a big smile.

I still feel Twitter is better in terms of global integration of people and community, but at the same point of time, I can see KOO becoming a global platform, just like Telegram and Whatsapp co-exist and have a different fan base.
